Chelsea star is unhappy with the club and won't sign a new contract

Cesc Fabregas is reportedly unhappy at Chelsea and as such, he won’t sign a new deal with the club.

The 31-year-old has found himself relegated to the role of a bit-part player under new Blues’ boss Maurizio Sarri and as such, he has no intention of agreeing to a contract extension.

That means that the Spanish international will become a free agent in the summer of 2019 and as such, he can start having discussions with clubs in January.

Reports in Italy suggest that AC Milan want to sign the former Barcelona man and it seems like he would be interested in a move to the Italian giants too.

If Fabregas does decide that his future lies elsewhere, then Chelsea could look to sell him in January, rather than lose him for free in the summer.

The Blues paid around £30million to Barcelona for Fabregas in 2014 so it would make sense for them to try to get some money back for him.

  2. The earlier they let fabregas go, the better for Chelsea. If not, he will soon start to create disaffection and confusion in the team against the new coach.
