Chelsea Preparing For Life After Hazard, To Agree Deal For Pacey Playmaker

Jamaican superstar Leon Bailey as been earmarked as Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard’s successor.

Leon Bailey has been heavily linked with a move to join the former Premier League champions in the January transfer window.

But this could stifle Hazard success on the field, despite toughening the competition between the prolific duo.

According to German Kicker, Bailey is the cream of the crop and has been handpicked by Italian boss Maurizio Sarri to replace Hazard, 27.

Leon Bailey delivered impressively for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and has been hugely praised for his athleticism.

Bailey, reckoned as one of the high rising stars in Europe’s top five leagues, has reportedly been linked with a move to Chelsea.

Bailey has also been eyed by several clubs including Premier League rivals Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

But the youngster has chose Stamford Bridge as his final destination according to reports.

Sparking competition between Hazard and Bailey is interestingly a healthy mix, but could spin into a fierce rivalry.

Bailey’s price tag is in the region of 60 million euros and despite strong interests from Chelsea, the Jamaican remarked that if any club is interested in his services, they should enter a talk with Bayer and his representative.
